When I redid some screen shots for my personal use, I discovered that there are pretty different teleport effects for the Shitennou. Here are the effects Jadeite used during his tour of duty. I hope I'll be able to add the others in due time.
This was the first appearance ever of Jadeite in Queen Beryl's throne room. The effect looked a bit weird, and fortunately Jadeite designed some other effects later on.
Jadeite's second teleport into the throne roome looked decidedly more stylish. Check out the geometric shapes in the third frame!
In episode 3 we only saw him disappear. This unique method had him being sucked into some kind of black hole thingy. The way his body distorts makes one wonder if this might not be a little painful...
This method of teleporting away looks a bit similar to the 2nd episode's appearance - albei here we can see black streaks that seem to have a kind of eraser effect instead of bluish white light.
In the episodes in between we didn't have any explicit teleports. In Nr.9, Jadeite changed the colour of his teleport effect to pink, and it appeared to be somewhat prolongued. In the end we had streaks of light, too, these in pink as well.
Once more the teleport shows up as streaks of black, which then take up the colour of Jadeite's uniform and hair. In this episode (and the one before), the teleport takes Jadeite 'upwards'.
This teleport was forced by Queen Beryl who called Jadeite back when she was displeased by his lack of success against the Sailor Senshi. It's black streaks time again. I wonder why Jadeite didn't complete the attack he just started when he was snatched away. ^_^
The final teleport effect was just pink light. Probably Jadeite didn't feel like using some elaborate designs as he had just been run over by some airplanes. I guess it would have been better for his health had he not returned to Queen Beryl, who was majorly upset by his final failure and sentenced him to Eternal Sleep.
