I'm still shocked beyond belief -
A flash of light, a wave of heat
A body swept away and broken
Discarded like some useless toy

I wanted to exact revenge
Right then and there and on the spot
But of course she's stronger
And I have to wait till I can strike

She still regards feelings as weakness
And so I hide my grief inside
While my hatred churns and boils
And tries to consume me from within

Of course I will stay calm and silent
Just as I told my love so many times
I'll wait with long trained patience
Until I catch her unawares

And then she will experience
That there's a time for love
There is a time for grief
And there's a time of reckoning
