The following kawaii images were drawn by Natsumi, a very nice Japanese artist who sent me her first beautiful artworks via postal mail, for which I have to thank her a lot! I'm really sorry that I don't seem to have any working address of Natsumi's anymore. It would be cool, if I could get in touch again, though.

Asgard Chapter

Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Cool Asgardians"

This picture is a gift to Torquemada who is the queen of the Northern Kingdom. I love the Asgardians and always want to draw some of them, but strangely I don't have many pictures of them. I don't know why.... Siegfried, Hagen, Syd...oh, they are so cute!! But the one who can really drive me crazy is Hilda! (LOL) She's one of the greatest female characters in Saint Seiya.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Flame and Icicle"

This is one of my favourite battles in the Asgard chapter. The flame wing VS The icy fang. I used the trading card to check the design of Bud's God Robe and I noticed that Araki changed it a little bit in the anime! (T-T) As you can see the helmet of Bud's armour doesn't have the protector of his chin. Oh well... I can't correct my mistake now, so please forget about the strange view of Bud's head when you see this....(sigh)
I recommend you to play "The eye of the tiger" as BGM of this battle. (LOL)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Hilda, Goddess who is imprisoned by evil"

Hagen loved Freya from the bottom of his heart and believed that she felt the same as he did to her. Maybe she did, however, she loved her beautiful country, Asgard, more and caused this tragedy. Misunderstanding, ignorance, strong jealousy and the fear to lose his treasure made this pure God Warrior throw his life away fighting against the Cygnus Saint. Although people will think his faith and trust in Hilda seem too stupidly honest, I truly admire Hagen's genuine love and deep emotion. He is my second beloved GW after Dubhe Siegfried. (=^^=)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "An Image of Norse Mythology"

I haven't studied "Das Nibelungenlied" yet, so perhaps my image is wrong. At first I wanted to draw only Siegfried. Then I felt like putting some word onto this pic just for design. As Siegfried is the hero of the Nibelungenlied, the title fit perfectly next to Siegfried and Hilda.

Poseidon Chapter

Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Reunion"

Hyoga was surprised to see Isaac under the sea and shocked how he had changed. He was completely different from what he used to be. Ducky respected Isaac as if he were his older brother. That's why he feels guilty whenever he thinks about Isaac. In fact I don't like watching Hyoga's fighting because his enemies are always good guys and die in tears of affection. Camus, Hagen, Isaac (in the anime, Crystal Saint is included, of course)..... It's too sad....(T-T)

Hades and Beyond

Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Arayashiki"

The scene in which Shaka dies when Saga, Shura and Camus attack him with the Athena Exclamation. Even though he is only a phantom, he tries to tell Saori the reason he chose to die. Then Athena makes the decision to defeat Hades in Hell. This is one of the most touching scenes in the Hades chapter. I cry when I read the episode of Shaka and his comrades..... Too tragic but truly beautiful.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Farewell, Athena's Golden Warrior"

In this scene Saga becomes dust and disappears under the morning light. Oh dear, I can't write any more. It's too sad. He dedicated his power, faith, love, life and soul to his Goddess, Athena. Seiya and his friends must remember that their victory against Hades is brought by the Gold Saint's holy sacrifice.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "An Assassin from Hell"

One of three Titans, Wyvern Rhadamanthys. I like the scene when Seiya challenges Rhadamanthys. At first he ignores Seiya, but after he discovers that Seiya and his comrades wear Cloths that got Athena's blood, he suddenly changes his attitude. In this scene, he looks really cool!!! I think he is the most handsome Spectre. Is it strange??
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Betrayal"

Shion and his young Saints. Rhadamanthys and his comrades. They are enemies but Shion pretends to be defeated by Hades' power and to lead those youngsters to go to Sanctuary and kill Athena. Well....this is the beginning of that bloody tragedy. All Goldies will die in Hell!! (T-T)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Tembu Hourin"

Shaka drives three Gold Saints into the corner and makes them use Athena Exclamation. He wants to die to get Arayashiki. As he expects, these three try to attack him by AE and kill him. Although Shaka already showed his power in the Sanctuary chapter he looks even better in Hades chapter. Strong, sincere, beautiful and faithful to his Goddess. What a lucky girl Saori is! (LOL) She's got so many sexy hunks as her guardians.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Loyalist"

Pandora and Rhadamanthys. To be honest I don't like the way Pandora treats this sincere Wyvern Spectre. Why is she so cold to him? I think he is the best Spectre among all of Hades' warriors. I just want Pandora-sama to notice which kind of guy is the best for her. She seems to be in love with Ikki... but he won't make you happy, Pan-chan, I fear... Indeed he is hellishly sexy, though...
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "For the comrade died under Sara-souju"

I drew this picture for a count getter of my webpage. She loves Leo Aiolia very much and requested me to create the image of his anger and the battle against Saga, Shura and Camus after Shaka's death. Camus and Shura's eyes don't look clear because their sight was destroyed by Shaka before this scene. But Saga's wasn't. That's why his eyes look a bit clearer than those of the others. I like the Hades chapter so much! Those emotional scenes always make me cry. I hope I can draw the scene of the Goldies' death at the Wailing Wall some day. I'm sure that I'll cry when I'm drawing it. (LOL)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Born to be Athena's guardians"

Libra and Aries in their youth again (I'm addicted to those two masters). This is the scene that mushroom Roushi surprised ex-Pope at the miracle peeling operation. If someone discovers the pill that can cause this effect, then he/she will be able to become as rich as Bill Gates, though...

They've been guarding Athena and Sanctuary for more than 250 years. I'm fascinated with the blaze of glory that dwells in their revived bodies and the youthful faces which only true fighters will be allowed to have.

Hearts on fire
Strong desire
Rages deep within
Fever's rising
Energizing
Fighters till the end...
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Shion vs Dohko"

Shion and Dohko were the only Saints who survived the ex Holy War against Hades. About 200 years have passed and these two closest friends met again. Now Dohko has to fight with this ex Pope who revived with his youthful body as his great enemy. What a scene!! Personally I love Dohko with his 18 year old appearance. Really cute!! (=^^=)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Milo vs Kanon - A pledge of the comrades"

This is the scene in which Milo is testing Kanon whether he really became one who can be called "Athena's faithful Saint". I think this is one of the most impressive scenes in the Hades chapter. Must be the best one for Milo's defenders (grin). As I'm a fan of him, I love to see my dear Scorpio being cool and dangerous.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Athena vs Hades"

This is the scene in which Shun was possessed by Hades. I like Saori in the Hades Chapter becasue she looks much stronger and mature there.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "At the Risk of our Lives"

Wyvern Rhadamanthys, Garuda Aeacus, Griffin Minos -- Three Judges in the Hades. In my image, the three Spectres have to look like ghosts. Pale skin, clear eyes and emotionless faces. Don't they look quite exotic? I really would love to see them in animated Hades... -.-
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Parting For Ever"

The farewell scene of Camus and Hyoga - this is one of my favourite scenes in Hades chapter. Camus is terribly wounded and almost disappearing under the sunshine. He still cares about his loving pupil and tries to encourage him. Sayonara Camus-sama... you were one of the greatest Saints in history.
(Play the <beautifully> saddest music and see this pic... I'll select Chopin's piano piece or Ave Maria - I forgot the composer's name who composed my favourite.. There are too many Ave Marias around.)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "The coolest Spectre <Wyvern>"

This is the portrait of my most favourite Spectre, Wyvern Rhadamanthys. Good looking guy, eh? ^^
It seems that there are a lot of people agreeing with me. He is one of the biggest stars in the Hades Chapter. (Needless to say our lovely Goldies are the best in this chap, though. ^-^) It's a real pity that Toei gave up to animate the best saga in Saint Seiya... Can you guys imagine how wonderful if would have been to see those new charas look lively with brilliant Araki's gorgeous design in animated Hades? Oh dear, I feel too sad when I face the fact that Toei will never realize my dream... (T-T)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Greatest Caution vs Galaxian Explosion"

Wyvern Rhadamanthys against Gemini Kanon. Kanon finally got the chance to show his real power and he surprised us a lot with his great ability. This strongest Spectre was forced to fight against heavy odds and in the end he became the star dust with proud Gemini Saint who used to be a traitor against Athena. This is one of the most impressive and tragic scenes in Hades chapter. Kanon is just as great as his beautiful brother. However, I'm a bit sad about his unfortunate life. I hope he'll be reborn into a happy family in the afterlife..... (I used the colour Stayka suggested this time. Which Rhada-chan do you prefer??)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "At the dark Death Valley"

The moment those two first confronted. If Pandora hadn't disturbed Rhadamanthys, who would have been the winner of this battle? I bet Kanon would have won. (^-^) ( Sorry Rhady...)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "The Eyes of Sadness"

Hades, the king of Hell. Is he really evil or....not? In Hades Chapter, Seiya was impressed by his incredibly pure, beautiful eyes with deep sorrow. If he is only evil, the Pegasus Saint couldn't have found anything in him which hit him so strongly. He is a god and the Saints are human. That's the reason they can never understand each other and have to fight for their different beliefs forever..... How sad! (>.<) I always feel sorry that those enemies (gods) are too handsome to be defeated so miserably! (Abel, Hades, Poseidon)

Scenes from "The S-Files":

I was incredibly flattered that Natsumi liked The S-Files and The S-Files Next Try by Shavana and me enough to make such beautiful drawings of some scenes! *smiles*

Saint
Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Culture shock!! A Greek Guy in Tokyo"

This is a scene from The S-Files: Next Try. People who have already read this fanfiction will be able to guess which chapter this illustration belongs to.
I am deeply addicted to this fanfic and love the scene where Milo is struggling to use the chopsticks. (^-^) He looks really cute in that scene. I mixed some images to draw the one which may look more hilarious. (Milo didn't have Japanese breakfast in the original story.) I hope Hyoga can be a good sensei like his master to teach Milo the proper way of using o-hashi. (LOL)
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "I will revive you, Himiko... with this gentle kiss"

After a lot of hesitation, Camus finally touches Himiko's lips in the third attempt to bring her back to life.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "You're my fire, the one desire..."

Congratulations, Himiko-chan!!!! Well I just wanted to see the happy image of this beautiful couple.
They are enjoying a comfortable siesta at Camus's living room in Aquarius temple. The way they sleep may look a bit strange because they are lying on the sofa not the bed. It seems that Camus-sensei isn't as freezing as we've expected. Himiko told me that he has the warm body and passion just as the others do. (*smile*) We'll probably be able to see the birth of new Leo Saint next year. (Just kidding!)
Hope you won't be too shocked. (-.-)

A Scene from "Unbroken":

Natsumi was as intrigued by Toffee's wonderful story Unbroken as I was - and she used her great artistic talent to create these marvellous illustrations!

Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "The Unforgettable Beloved"

This is the image of Toffee Francisco's fanfic "Unbroken". She kindly allowed me to draw this. I know that this story shows forbidden love among Saints. Some people will call it pervert "Yaoi" full of disgust. Nevertheless I would like all of you to understand that her story is just showing the pureness and beauty of true love which will end up in tragedy. I usually dislike fanfics only describing explicit love scenes (or homosexuality), but I could find it really beautiful and romantic so I tried to produce the image of this. Don't see only the illustration. Move to the fanfic section and read it. You will surely understand why I was moved so much by her brilliant story. I hope that my lack of drawing ability doesn't ruin her effort.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "An empty heart"

Toffee kindly allowed me to draw any image from her wonderful fic so I tried to draw one scene of chapter 3. Oh dear, that Milo could be that malicious and merciless... Hey Mako-chan, I think you should be careful. If you keep being cold to him he'll probably find a new girl who's gonna be crazy about only him. And unfortunately there must be thousands of candidates like that. (T-T) In this pic Milo is flushed a bit. I just followed Toffee's description and he *definitely* doesn't go red becuase he sees Camus stares at him. (>.<) You see he's been *working* hard that's why he has some red parts on his body. (LOL)

Fanfic+Doujin Illustrations

Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Snow White-Crab Saint De-chan"

In my friend's St.S site, I read the parodic fanfic "Snow White Crab". He lost consciousness by Aphrodite's Royal Demon Rose and was dressed like an idiot (LOL). In fact this was Mu's idea. Most of the Japanese fans think this calm Aries is really nasty and naughty (grin). I think so, too. He is the disciple of Shion and the master of the little mischievous Kiki... so it must be natural. Poor DeathMask. He looks pretty cute in a flamboyant princess-like dress (LOL). Needless to say the other Goldies who are trying to stifle a laughter are playing the role of Seven Dwarves.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "The Solar Eclipse"

In my friend's doujin (I draw the illustrations for her story), Leo Gold Saint Aiolia is in love with Cancer DeathMask. As you know DeathMask died in the war against the real Athena and the Bronzies, Leo lost his treasure then. This is the picture that shows Aiolia sunken in grief holding his dear comrade. The sorrow of the Sun in the dark night without Moonlight...
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "DeathMask and Aiolia"

This picture also belongs to the aforementioned doujinshi. This time Natsumi shows us again how well she can also work with a simple pencil and without colours. I really envy her this great talent! :)))
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Saga and Aphrodite"

This wonderful pencil drawing is another illustration from the doujinshi Eclipse. Apply all the praises I (=Stayka ^_^) wrote about the other illustrations to this, too :)

Christmas Saints

Aren't those "Christmas Cards" beautiful? I really love Natsumi's aquarelle paintings!!!

Natsumi's Original Drawings

Natsumi is not only able to do marvellous fanart, her original drawings are stunning, too!

Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "Ohka - The beauty of the cherry blossom under the moon"

When I drew this picture, Japan was in the season of the cherry blossom, which is Japanese national flower. I really love the view of the pink-white flower melting into the moon in the darkness. It's truly beautiful and dreamy. While I was staring at the blooming sakura (cherry blossoms), this picture suddenly hit my mind. It's nothing connected to Saint Seiya, but I just couldn't stop describing the beauty of the nature of this country. (^-^) The boy is wearing the purple kimono because purple was thought to be the noblest colour in ancient Japanese high status society.
Saint Seiya FanArt by Natsumi "To Laura (Four Bible Angels)"

Laura sent me a comment for my artworks and then we started exchanging mails.
One day she suggested me to draw four Bible Angels. Rafael, Uriel, Gabriel and Michael. She decided the colour of their hair, eyes and robes. In addition the features of their faces were also designed by her. The black haired man is Uriel, the one with red hair is Michael, with brown hair is Gabriel and the blond man is Rafael. Hope she will like it. Anyway, thank you for writing me a nice comment, Laura. Keep up enjoying Stayka's St.S Archive.
