"Farewell to Madonna"

When I watched B'tX Neo #6 again, the last scene of the episode moved me deeply. After his B't Madonna died, Metalface at first seemed unfazed towards Teppei, but as soon as Teppei left him, Metalface allowed himself to show a true human emotion for the first time in the series. In the last rays of the sun, he broke down and silently cried as he realised that his long-time companion Madonna was truly dead now and he was all alone.

"Piece of the Sun"

Okay, this pic is actually only a temporary stage that happened when I generated the glow for MetalFace for the pic with him and Karen and the Piece of the Sun, but I really love how this looks in itself.

"MetalFace and Karen"

This pic is inspired by the episode B'tX Neo #9, the quote is from the manga, though.
MetalFace gives the Piece of the Sun to Karen. Karen had searched for the core of light that was said to be the only thing that could destroy the monstrous B't Raphaelo for five years. When she finally found it, she realised that she wouldn't be able to obtain it without sacrificing her life in the process. Surprisingly, MetalFace intercepted her and chose to obtain the Piece of the Sun for her - MetalFace, who had pursued and tried to kill her for a long time since he had heard of Karen becoming a traitor and defecting from the Machine Empire. This is a picture from the anime as this scene didn't take place like this in the manga, although in the manga, MF's motivations were more obvious - there it was strongly hinted that he had quite some feelings for Karen and these were the reason he ultimately decided to sacrifice himself for her. But with this sacrifice, MetalFace finally managed to shine on his own and found his peace while shaking off the fetters that bound him to the Machine Empire. It's such a pity that he didn't get a happy end with Karen. *snif*

"MetalFace Pin-Up"

As a little pause from trade arts and kiribans, I wanted to draw a pic for myself once more, this time a nekkid version of MetalFace. With this picture I wanted to prove that even a homicidal Cyborg can look very sexy. XD (By the way, this page of the manga is to blame for it - and if you can read German, you'll realise why this cracked me up big time: Click here.)

"MetalFace and Karen II"

Well, I just felt like drawing this pic of MetalFace and Karen. I actually drew Karen's overall on another layer of the picture, but I decided I wanted to post this version after all, as it reveals her huge scar on the back. (Here is the version with the red overall.)
This picture shows how both Karen and MetalFace were scarred by the Machine Empire. It would be set shortly before Karen defected from the Machine Empire to find the piece of the Sun and thus before MetalFace was ordered to hunt her down.

The second pic was actually a result from the construction process of the above drawing (I mostly draw first the characters and then put on their clothing/armour/etc - but somehow I liked how it looked and decided to upload it, too. (This pic is non-adult according to German customs and laws, so I don't see any need for special warnings). It shows Karen and MetalFace before they got injured during their service to the Machine Empire.
