<Bill_Irvine> I am Bill Irvine, top notch pilot, gunsmith, gunslinger and that damn good. Right now I am somewhere up in the air and thinking about getting away from here before the two choppers close in... With the others on board of course.

Lady_Samantha is a medical doctor, and linguist. Appears to be late 20' early 30's

Bob_Grant is an average looking African-American who is one of the assistants of Dr. Lisa Miller. Currently he is on the plane.

<Rhiannon_D> I'm Rhiannon D'Nirek, an alien AI on a nanotech shell, formerly an ambassador. Currently, I'm re-familiarizing with the much changed Earth and its habitats, through constant active interaction. Only my self-preservation subroutines would prefer it was a bit less "active".

Rev_Jones has been the priest and general counsellor of a small mountain village for the last twenty years and looks it. He seems to have used his free time effectively.

Rhiannon_D is currently on her hover bike, roaming in search of Dr. Samantha.

Nathan Raiser is a grease monkey and driver of vehicles extraordinaire... he knew Wild Bill from Vietnam... his past is uncertain... but he's definitely been doing some shady stuff---

Himiko is a beautiful Asian woman, with long black hair, green eyes and that's about it...

Skywarp is the mysterious object under the camo netting in Nathan's part of the encampment... It still hasn't been showing what it can do

<Storytortillo> Deep in the jungles of South America a temple was discovered... the connotations for the scientific community were astounding... at least they would be if two professors of the Etherite persuasion weren't running there to prove their own theories... professor Merak, the ruthless one was there first and took possession of the site...

<Storytortillo> ... in search of advanced cybertronian technology Nathaniel Raiser arrived o site only to be rebutted by Prof. Merak... while he was pondering what to do, a huge B-52 arrived... in it his old buddy from the military, Bill Irvine, accompanied by Dr. Miller and her crew, including Bob Grant and Doc Samantha

<Storytortillo> Upon raiding the camp they setup shop there each in hope of pursuing his interests... Merak returned unfortunately and only the quick thinking of Nathan Raiser got him out of there fast enough to make him run away in fear of governmental sanctions against his person...

<Storytortillo> During the raid, a gigantic airship descended on the site... in it was a beautiful amnesiac woman... she was given the name "Anna" by the motley group of "archaeologists"... during the exploration the group located a Time warp in the central temple...

<Storytortillo> While the others entered the resting place of a creature that was fed by blood of the native peoples before they were slaughtered by the conquistadors...

<Storytortillo> Anna and Nathan remained in the main room in fear of what sort of evil thing could be hiding inside... from the Time Warp a slender robotic woman came out, presenting herself as Rhiannon and proclaiming her status as a messenger of a long lost alien race...

<Storytortillo> Anna and Nathan were terrified by the "bloodsucking god" and almost blew up the whole site... fortunately Nathan cooled Anna off and they planted a shaped charge on Rhiannon... ensuring the "blood god" was not going to get any blood of theirs...

<Storytortillo> While the group believed in Rhiannon without any problem, the two were disgusted by their naivete and left... the amount of fear, adrenaline and explosives got them all over each other, while the others were exploring the secondary complex... there amidst deadly traps the group found a hoverbike Rhiannon was using...

<Storytortillo> During their return... something odd happened

<Storytortillo> Doc Samantha fell behind, deep in her own thoughts... while the others were startled by the uncanny silence of the whole forest... So they were attacked by a group of high tech raiders, bent on capturing Rhiannon... Dr. Miller was killed by the raiders and Bob Grant escaped terrified and splattered with her blood... Reverend Jones dragged him into Bill's B-52 and they got off only to realize a huge helicopter gunship was above them cloaked...

<Storytortillo> Even the special weapons of the b-52 proved inadequate to destroy the attacker fast enough... but by slowing time Reverend Jones allowed them to blow the thing up... only for them to get enough out of there and to find themselves surrounded by 3 uncloaked attack copters... and the airship covered by another large gunship...

<Bill_Irvine> (3? I thought there were two closing in?!)

<Storytortillo> Inside the gunship Anna and Nathan were fighting the invaders, only to get separated close to the bridge... where she was confronted by the team leader who held her at gunpoint and recognized her as "Himiko"...

<Storytortillo> During all of this Rhiannon felt the time warp that Reverend Jones created... and used the momentary confusion to roar with the hoverbike through the cloaked armored raiders and head back towards the secondary temple to see where Doc Samantha was left...

<Storytortillo> Rhi, you're driving the thing, through trees, gun shots and huge waves of electricity going all around you...

<Storytortillo> and thus we start Etherites go for tonight...

<Storytortillo> (now everyone should know what's up ;))

Lady_Samantha climbs a tree to see where I am relative to the rest of the folks

<Storytortillo> (Sam you are not conscious)

<Storytortillo> (I didn't say anything about you yet... but if I must spell it you were hit by the attackers when you fell behind)

<Storytortillo> (I wanted Rhi to find the details and then kick you in... so FiXX GO!)

Rhiannon_D propels the bike a few meters upwards to dodge a large root as she speeds towards the temple.

<Storytortillo> You hear a huge explosion behind you, followed with gunfire and a series of smaller explosions

Rev_Jones whispers to Bill: do you have enough Ammo to take them all?

<Storytortillo> AS you weave through the jungle you jump into the air and suddenly see the clearing around the temple...

<Storytortillo> There on the floor Doc Samantha is lying

Rhiannon_D drops back to normal levitation height, snapping her neck and moving the bike towards Sam.

<Bill_Irvine> Ammo ain't the problem boy, but I don't know if I have enough armor plating on my baby... We need a way to get the others and then the hell outta here.

<Storytortillo> Around her are three armored troopers and two people in black body armor (swat kind)

<Storytortillo> (ah yes and the B-52 is pretty messed up partly from the Rev's paradox and partly from the rockets)

<Storytortillo> (but that's for when we turn back to you)

Rhiannon_D props the bike's forces weapons moments before emerging in the clearing.

<Storytortillo> (just tell me what you will try to do?)

<Storytortillo> (I'll see if possible)

<Rhiannon_D> (Forces 3, Prime 2 kinetic damage, bashing by default (unless it's an aimed headshot or similar), its powered from the bike.)

<Storytortillo> As you start the guns the odd whine is waking up Doc Sam

<Storytortillo> She's tied up on the floor with some sort of handcuffs for her hands behind her back and with some sort of bracers around her legs... around her are men in an odd high tech white armor and some in black swat armor

<Bob_Grant> (Imperial Storm Troopers?)

<Rhiannon_D> (and a speeder bike ;-) )

Lady_Samantha feels around the cuffs to see if I can get out of them

Rhiannon_D aims for one of the power-armored troops, and lets loose with her kinetic cannons

<Storytortillo> The ground is riddled by the blasts in front of you... as the blasts go from your bike towards them the black armored man dive aside... on of the white ones is knocked square over the doc and hits the ground close to the temple... the other two are standing before you, and raising their guns towards you

Storytortillo rolled 7d10 dice and got: 9, 10, 9, 10, 2, 5, 10

Rhiannon_D fires the side thrusters, strafing (dodge) and shooting at the men.

Rhiannon_D tilts her head, the gyro indicators following as the ship is hefted sideways in a sweeping move, the jets blowing dead leaves and branches in the air, as the bike is thrusted in a forceful move

<Storytortillo> suddenly the hoverbike swerves and one of the cables misses the head... unfortunately the move only manages to protect you from getting the blast to your head... it hits your bike instead... suddenly the electricity is arcing through your bike...

<Storytortillo> ... the cable is still attached to the gun...

Rhiannon_D moves her head down, the throttle reaching max as she heads towards the group of soldiers, trying to entangle them with their own cable.

<Storytortillo> The electricity arcs through the bike, slowly subsiding and focusing around your reactor...

<Rhiannon_D> (dex-pilot again for the mentioned feat?)

<Storytortillo> the reactor absorbs almost the whole blow...

Rhiannon_D blasts past the first guard, hitting the emergency side-thrusters barely a few meters past him, the current from the bike almost pushing him back.

<Storytortillo> Suddenly you yank the controls to the side and keeping the magnetic line through which the electricity was arcing you suddenly, yank the throttle up, moving the bike sideways and suddenly bursting forward to the side of one of them and then quickly between them entangling them in the cable making them hit each other...as they bash each other one of them triggers a blast from his rifle through it and the electricity arcs through them... as they are falling do

<Storytortillo> ... they are falling towards the doc... but you finally yank the bike directly up dragging them almost 6 feet into the air over the terrified doc and directly into the two swat members that were about to take aim with their modified assault rifles...

Rhiannon_D calls out to Samantha from the bike speaker as she heads up, hoping she hasn't met the same fate as Dr. Miller.

<Lady_Samantha> huh - /me looks for the sound source

<Lady_Samantha> Who's there?

<Lady_Samantha> (do I recognise Rhi's voice?)

Lady_Samantha calls out to Rhi -- here... tied up

<Rhiannon_D> (guards done for the time being?)

Rhiannon_D swiftly lands the bike next to Sam, and jumps out.

<Lady_Samantha> tied up -- (I roll over so she can see the cuffs)

<Storytortillo> As you lean down towards Samantha... it hits you that one of the armored men dived aside when you were shooting at them... it hits you about the same time you feel a cable square on your back and electricity going all over you...

<Storytortillo> you feel your vision narrowing... the readouts and the picture threatening to black out

<Storytortillo> (stamina roll for staying on your feet... or a point of willpower to shrug it off)

<Storytortillo> You shrug it off and turn to the armored man lying down on the floor holding his gun at you... you can see that his faceplate is broken and raised... he is smiling triumphantly... until the moment you turn towards him and his smile quickly dies off

Rhiannon_D forces whatever strength she can gather augmenting the electricity running through the cable as she sends it back to its owner.

<Storytortillo> The man's face contorts in fear as he tries to press the trigger... and suddenly the electricity arcs al over him , his gun exploding and taking the better part of his right side... he is screaming in pain.... and he is suddenly silent

<Storytortillo> (it's smarter not to roll with me unless I tell you so... next time you do this you go with the roll)

Lady_Samantha calls out -- Rhi are you there?

Rhiannon_D limps towards the doctor, parts of the nanotech forming a burnt patch of plastic and metal right below her wings.

<Storytortillo> Rhiannon arrives above you... some of her looks as if she was burned... and a half of her face looks completely melted...

Rhiannon_D checks the doctor's cuffs.

<Lady_Samantha> oh dear === are you ok?

<Storytortillo> suddenly there's another explosion above the camp... the B52 is flying and seems to be trailing smoke... there seems to be some other craft in the air... one much quicker that's flying around the place...

<Rhiannon_D> Negative. Protocol function suspended due to extensive power leak. Shell damage critical, internal diagnosis indicates basic components damaged.

<Lady_Samantha> that does not sound good... I was asking if you needed a "booster" shot -- worried about how the

<Lady_Samantha> thing is designed

<Lady_Samantha> when I'm untied - I collect my equipment and do a base scan on Rhi

<Rhiannon_D> I'm afraid treatments geared towards carbon-based forms are ineffective

<Lady_Samantha> (to compare with my earlier scan to see what's changed)

<Rhiannon_D> We must evacuate you from here to safety and initiate repairs.

<Storytortillo> Well looking at her tells you that she is burned and that she obviously has internal damage

<Lady_Samantha> OK - that makes sense

<Rhiannon_D> (how hard do the cuffs look?)

<Storytortillo> some of the burns show some sort of machines inside... but the worst was quickly covered by a small patch of something akin to skin

<Storytortillo> they look pretty solid

Rhiannon_D runs towards where she dropped the SWAT troopers and picks up an assault rifle, then heads back towards the doctor.

<Storytortillo> and they don't have any locking mechanism you can see...

<Storytortillo> one of the SWAT troopers is writhing under the huge men in armor... but he's like a fish on land... with a Ton weight on top of her

Rhiannon_D aims towards the end of the chain that's as further away from the doc as possible.

<Storytortillo> the chain is 10 cm long

<Rhiannon_D> Doctor, Stay clear.

<Lady_Samantha> nods

<Storytortillo> (10 cm?)

<Storytortillo> (are you sure you want to shoot THAT?)

<Lady_Samantha> hmmmms

Rhiannon_D checks the gun clip

<Lady_Samantha> maybe I can wiggle out of them ...

<Rhiannon_D> (if it's anything smaller than shotgun rounds, I shoot)

Rhiannon_D jabs the chain between the soil and the weapon's barrel, CMs away from the doctor's hand.

<Storytortillo> that's hunting rifle ammo... usually... and sniper ammo

Rhiannon_D evaluates the situation for a second.

<Lady_Samantha> Rhi -- please take a bright pink pill from my locket --

<Lady_Samantha> that's meant to allow escapes -- (life2 to wiggle out of the cuffs)

Rhiannon_D holds the gun in one hand, and starts dragging the doctor towards the bike.

<Rhiannon_D> Don't move.

<Rhiannon_D> We'll release you when we've reached safety.

Rhiannon_D slides on the bike, and drags the Doctor on, placing her in a safe position as the cover slides on the bike.

Rhiannon_D hovers, uncertain where to go, with the b52 attacked as well.

<Storytortillo> As you step on the accelerator you head towards the dogfight, the doc over your bike...

<Rhiannon_D> (just as I was about to type that I'd head for a relatively safe spot in the jungle ^^)

<Storytortillo> and we turn to the Airship... where "Anna is confronted by a man in the black uniform holding her at gunpoint...

<Bill_Irvine> Armor plates, guns, special jets, G-Force compensators and some cloaking chemicals...

<Storytortillo> and a huge gunship like the one you blasted over the airship...

<Rev_Jones> Cloaking? I like that?

<Storytortillo> You are in a cockpit that's half blown apart... a lot of the gadgets are blown up... there are bullet holes in the cockpit and a big chunk of the left side is simply gone...

<Rev_Jones> What about an external mike?

<Storytortillo> one of your engines is dead

Bill_Irvine flips the button for the cloaking chemicals to take effect, which make it chameleon like (Matter / Forces 14 Sux when I rolled for it)

<Bill_Irvine> Right now we have loads of external damage...

Lady_Samantha tries to use the comm freq to see if any of the others are still alive

Skywarp suddenly roars upwards up the plane... there is a sudden creak of metal... you see the plane hanging in midair... and somehow pushing the gunship away...

<Lady_Samantha> Hello... is anyone there?

Rev_Jones unstraps and runs to one of the guns... if any of them are accessible...

Skywarp keeps pushing and then you notice that somehow part of the fuselage has moved? And it suddenly roared directly backwards and unleashed a swarm of missiles directly at it...

Lady_Samantha listens to the comm freqs to see if there is any response

<Storytortillo> Actually suddenly when the other gunship rockets downwards the jamming is off... but that doesn't help since the radar exploded

Bill_Irvine throws two guns out of his jacket to Jones and two sticks of dynamite, too

Bill_Irvine pulls the B52 up and turns it sideways to outmaneuver the missiles, flying steep angles angles, hoping the G-Force compensation at least still works

<Storytortillo> You suddenly notice that one of the choppers has veered off...

Rev_Jones is working on a way to get the bullets to skip over the time-space continuum. Or to imbue them with some kind of enhanced impact.

<Storytortillo> the other one is behind you and is shooting at you with the chain guns...

<Bill_Irvine> *shouts* By the way boy... In a crate there are rounds of XP-ammo

Rev_Jones rummages...

Bill_Irvine pulls is machine straight up in a steep angle, turns it around and completes the pulling, so it should get above the chopper

<Rev_Jones> *shout* How explosive?

<Bill_Irvine> It depends on how good you are at hitting your target.. The chemicals in there should suffice for a nice BOOOM!

<Lady_Samantha> Our plan was to see if we could reach Bill and co. to see about rejoining them

Skywarp suddenly moves to the side from the chopper's attack and shoots rockets at it... the pilot avoids them by shutting the chopper down and going into freefall to let the tracers go off...

<Lady_Samantha> Bill: do you have a way to lift us to you?

<Bill_Irvine> *Com* I can go straight above the tree line and hove above the clearing

<Lady_Samantha> ST: can we get to him then?

<Bill_Irvine> *com* You would need to hurry though. I doubt the Lady would make it to a ladder on full speed and keep to her arms

<Bill_Irvine> *com* Would be quite a waste

<Himiko> (I have a way to get you in)

Skywarp shoots at the missiles heading for the Airship... and we look inside the airship

Nathan_Raiser is lying down on the bridge bleeding...

<Bill_Irvine> (I can hover above the clearing, you just would have to climb up a ladder fast)

<Lady_Samantha> we need to land someplace with the hovercraft

<Storytortillo> The comms are working and you can contact the b52... the jet is obviously clearing the air for you so that you can go higher

<Storytortillo> (That's out of question... the bike is going with you... it's Fixxxer's toy)

<Rev_Jones> (could we open up the back of the B52?

<Lady_Samantha> (how about -- Bill comes close enough for Rhi to land in the b52 and Nat's ship distracts the attack while we land in the ship

<Storytortillo> (2 choppers... and warp has the priority to defend the airship... you get out of it :)

Himiko raises the skyship, and activates the cloaking device, then drops the ships immediately back to the ground (I've got a plan)

<Rev_Jones> (Actually, there is no way to get you two in the B52 - we move 5 times your speed)

<Himiko> (it was how much arete? 12 or so not?)

<Bill_Irvine> (Would it be possible to get the bike in via the bomb bay?)

<Lady_Samantha> she seems to have very good control of the device

<Storytortillo> (the hangar is the best while doing a running skim over the trees... you need to get rid of the chopper first.... if you're low you're screwed as you need to fly in a straight line)

<Himiko> (There's a big advantage to Zeppelins, even though they are a very big target, they are hard to shoot down, because they can keep flying riddled with holes and don't explode)

<Himiko> (I have a plan to get "rid" of the chopper long enough)

Himiko really waits for the two minutes to pass, powering the engines, but staying in one spot.. and holding myself ready to activate the cloaking device..

Himiko turns the Zeppelin back with its hangar door side towards the top of the temple, activates the cloaking device, lowers itself so that the bottom of the Zeppelin is lower then the top of the Zeppelin and then flies backwards and upwards..

Nathan_Raiser coughs out blood

Himiko runs to the levers and back again.

Rev_Jones pulls the lever to open the hanger doors and aims through the cracks. By remarkable luck the explosive shot lands on the helicopter in pursuit and...

<Bill_Irvine> (Wouldn't the blimp be too slow for an escape run?)

<Himiko> (You'd be surprised)

<Lady_Samantha> (once we've landed - Rhi get the cuffs and what not off me... I take my doctor's bag and supplies to treat Nat)

<Himiko> (You have no idea Nat is wounded yet)

<Lady_Samantha> (I kind of thought we heard it in his voice)

<Himiko> *The blimp moves backwards towards the two at the top of the temple. But there isn't an opening to be seen. Only the big metal doors of the hangar. It's going to crush you.*

<Lady_Samantha> (I thought we were on board???)

<Storytortillo> As you do that Rhiannon moves over the deck and enters before you scoop the temple... the problem is... the hangar doors hit the thing...

<Storytortillo> Suddenly the whole airship shakes...

<Storytortillo> you are knocked of your feet...

<Rev_Jones> (ST, did the helicopter explode?)

<Nathan_Raiser> Warp... Free this idiocy... now!

<Himiko> (It should do the scooping part, the Zepp has enough power to do so)

<Storytortillo> As Nathan screams, the sad pilot of the chopper sees the doors opening... and the revered holding a gun...

<Storytortillo> this is the last thing he sees, as the bullet hits the windshield and blows the whole front apart

Skywarp flips downwards and low to the ground as he opens fire with a set of small unguided missiles...collapsing the top of the temple... and taking out most of the doors...

Skywarp is clipped by the fire of the attack chopper

<Storytortillo> The Ships shakes free

<Storytortillo> The whole thing is shaking... and for a moment there you think it will shake apart...

<Storytortillo> but it slowly moves onwards...

<Storytortillo> the chopper turns tail and heads in a different direction... Skywarp moves into position next to the airship and is covering it

<Skywarp> Warp... destroy... the temple... don't let them... find anything there...

<Skywarp> (Nathan)

Skywarp veers off... and flies low, right above the trees letting loose a salvo of rockets and then heading directly upwards...

<Lady_Samantha> (since we seem to have missed the meet... we fly out of the way of ships attack)

<Storytortillo> The whole temple explodes as the group converges and lèeaves the location at the top speed of the blimp...

Himiko presses the controls and everybody not holding on to something will be throw back to the ground and slide towards a wall as the airship accelerates towards the speed of sound..

<Storytortillo> The B-52 is in a pretty bad shape but is flying...

<Storytortillo> The Airship has a huge gaping hole where the loading doors were...

<Storytortillo> Skywarp has some bullet holes, but is flying directly below the airship...

<Lady_Samantha> (and us??)

<Rev_Jones> (we have holes but are alive)

<Storytortillo> Rhiannon and Sam have a wonderful view of the jungles from above... but Sam is pretty chilly...

<Bill_Irvine> (My B52!!! *sniffs* It will take some time to repair it)

<Skywarp> Nathan... I register a number of aircraft incoming from the north...

<Rev_Jones> (Hell, I am more or less giving my plane to them)

<Skywarp> We should get out of here...

<Skywarp> Nathan?

Nathan_Raiser has collapsed on the floor and is not moving

<Skywarp> Nathan please respond...

Himiko heads into an Eastern direction, the ship cloaked except for a huge gaping hole at the backside... and runs to the internal comms..

<Himiko> Dr. Smith...

<Himiko> To the bridge

<Lady_Samantha> (pardon??? are we there??? last I saw we were flying away from Warp's attack)

<Himiko> (Yes, you are)

<Lady_Samantha> *sigh*

<Lady_Samantha> ok - then all the stuff we did before the realty shift we do now

<Storytortillo> (look up)

Lady_Samantha assists Rhi and walks to the bridge

Rev_Jones takes another pot shot at the last helicopter.
