Placing small bits and drops of gooey muck into tiny vials and exmining the reactions, he made the occasional note, collecting evidence for his impending correllation of facts. So entranced within his work, was he, that Dr. Edwards was totally oblivious to the cacaphony of gunfire and laser pulses, only 150 meters or so away.
