This story is a long time wish of mine to start. It will probably have an offline counterpart with different characters. It is partially inspired by the Japanese myths and legends and owes a lot to me being a great fan of Stan Sakai's Usagi Yoyimbo.

The characters are all created with standard creation rules for their respective type of Shen. They need to be a bit on the outside of their own kind's normal duties and ways. Everyone may expect bonuses that depend on the character type and needs.

The first Bugaisha dealt with the young Tengu ninja Raffietto, the confused Kitsune Keiei and the tortured Dhampyr Samurai Saemon... the trio met and ended up in a war with the ancient enemies of Raffieti's father - the Chriyamista. The game was put on permanent hiatus due to pacing problems, scheduling and the lack of feeling for the setting from certain parts of the Cast.

The game was however resumed with a new Cast and a new plot in Bugaisha - The Outsiders - Hon Ni.
